Chuck E. Cheese's is a family entertainment center located on 298 Market Street in Callaway, Florida. This location has the classic and well-known Balcony stage.
History[]
This location's roots go back to January 6, 1982, when it first opened as a Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre. Like most PTTs, this location had the all-too-familiar Balcony stage and Pizza Time Players shows.
In 1991, as part of the nationwide "Concept Unification" process (which was set in motion to convert all Showbiz restaurants in America to Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants), the Callaway Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre changed its name to Chuck E. Cheese's and only the interior was retrofitted and remodeled. The Balcony stage has largely been left unchanged and this location is one of the few remaining locations left with a Balcony stage.
Once Tux got replaced with Avenger in 1999, the CEC animatronic got the MMBB Cyberamic mask from another Floridian location that was converting into a Studio C Alpha.
The store was set to get a Studio C Beta in 2002, but the technician refused, citing they wanted to remain the last Chuck E. Cheese in Florida with a balcony stage.
