History
The Port St. Joe, Florida location opened on December 15, 1981 as a part of the Showbiz Pizza Place chain of family entertainment centers.
In 1991, the Port St. Joe Showbiz Pizza Place was shut down, and reopened under the Chuck E. Cheese's brand, a practice that would lead to the rebranding of all SPP locations worldwide by 1994 as part of "Concept Unification".
In March 2016, the Port St. Joe Chuck E. Cheese's was moved from its original location to a former Kmart store and was reopened at the new location as the second mega-location in Florida after the success of the Orlando location. The old location is still vacant.

The Port St. Joe, Florida location has the 3-Stage CU stage that was moved from the original location with a helicopter light. It has a Helen with a Mitzi cheerleader outfit (after the CU dress ripped during the move).
