History[]

This CEC location's roots go back to an unknown date (possibly the 1990s), when it opened as a Super Kmart store. In 2010, the store was downsized to a regular Kmart.

In early 2016, it was announced that the Terre Haute Kmart was closing in April 2016 due to poor sales for Christmas 2015. ABS saw the Terre Haute Kmart store closing as the perfect opportunity to convert the Terre Haute Kmart into a new Chuck E. Cheese's FEC/restaurant. The Terre Haute Kmart got the axe and finally closed up shop for good in April 2016.

Kabushiki Gaisha ABS planned to convert the space for the now-closed Kmart into a Chuck E. Cheese's family entertainment center and restaurant. The process was completed by the end of August 2016.

In 2020, It gained the Tux Chuck & Munch posters and the "Surf the Tubes" sign from the former Gary, Indiana "Central" location, which closed due to COVID-19.

In 2021, the location added E-Ticket compatibility to all of their post-1998 games.
