Chuck E. Cheese's is a family entertainment center located on 688 Warwick Street in Providence, Rhode Island. This location has the 3-Stage Concept Unification stage with Cyberamics.
History[]
This location's roots go back to March 13, 1982, when it first opened as a Showbiz Pizza Place. This original location had a deep 5 foot ball pit and the house band "Family Album", where guests could interact live with the animatronics and the guy in the DJ booth provided the voices. They took requests and told jokes. There were other animatronics at this location, including "The King".
In 1990, as part of the nationwide "Concept Unification" process (which was set in motion to convert all Showbiz restaurants in America to Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants), the Providence Showbiz Pizza was shut down and was shortly reopened as a Chuck E. Cheese's. Also, the 3-Stage animatronics were replaced with Cyberamics since the 3-Stage animatronics during the Showbiz era were in an unstable condition.
