Zonkers is a family entertainment center located in Magna, Utah. This location opened in January 2017.
History[]
This location's roots go back to April 13, 1983, when it first opened as a Showbiz Pizza Place. Like most SPPs, this location had the all-too-familiar "Rock-A-Fire Explosion" shows and stage.
In 1991, as part of the nationwide "Concept Unification" process (which was set in motion to convert all Showbiz restaurants in America to Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants), the Magna Showbiz Pizza was shut down and was shortly reopened as a Chuck E. Cheese's.
In 2016, Chuck E. Cheese's moved to a new location in a former Hollywood Video store and the old Magna Chuck E. Cheese's was shut down and remained vacant until December 2016 when new owners bought the property and converted the place to a Zonkers fun center that opened in January 2017.
